1. Sleep Better

Too many of us stay up way past our bed time due to Facebook stalking, re-tweeting, and liking Instagram pictures. Get into bed a few minutes earlier, and give yourself time to follow your night time rituals without truly disrupting your sleep. Don’t forget to set your volume to silent (or close your phone) until the next morning.

2.Update your software

Yeah so… you know those pop ups you keep answering “Ask Me Later”? It’s time to act on them. Updates are important to our most precious devices and cannot be ignored. They normally consist of fixes for tshutterstock_226607293he weak spots in the software, so ignoring the updates mean you are allowing your devices to become more vulnerable to harm/ not performing as it should. Get with the program!

3.Clean up your Inbox and PC Documents

Say goodbye to all of those unsent Drafts in your inbox, and countless newsletters from your favorite stores. This virtual cleanse  is long overdue if you haven’t done so already. It feels as good as cleaning out your bedroom closet!

4.Keep your personal life private

Be sure to update your privacy settings, as networking sites tend to make changes often. You may want to hold back the emotional break up status’, and doctor’s office selfies. The internet is a big place, keep your image clean and be sure to stray away from any incriminating photos. Now that’s a resolution!

5. Don’t Reuse Old Passwords

Do not use the same passwords for all your accounts, and website memberships. Protect your online presence from hackers and fraudulent activities, and welcome this new year on the right foot! “1234” is an good example of a BAD password!
